We have so many exciting things happening over at VintageNewsJunkie.com including our brand new line of paint... JUNKIE PAINT!!
And we've opened a brand new shop in downtown Burlington, NC, so come check us out!
When the Hubs and I crossed into the Village of Lucketts (Yes, it's a village!!) I had NO idea what was waiting ahead... I had knots in my stomach. Why? I don't know. I guess it was excitement crossed with the potential that I would meet some of the people I have admired for such a long time!!
Meet my new friends!!
I met so many amazing young women this past weekend at Lucketts... I couldn't wait to introduce you to them! If you're a fellow blogger, these ladies are no stranger. But if you just happened to stumble upon my 'lil page... here are some gals you're gonna want to get to know!!
Oh my... I have so much that I want to share about this past weekend at Lucketts... the wonderful people I met, the memories made, and of course the treasures I found! But this girl got less than 6 hours of sleep last night...
after a 6 hour drive in a car... and one mad dash to Wal-Mart for tarps to cover my 'babies' strapped to the top of the car. I tell ya... stories to share!! And did I mention I worked today?? Training the new girl who will take my place... I am wiped out!!!
Sometimes you just gotta take matters into your own hands! :) Ha ha! For quite some time, I have been attempting to have a logo made for the Shoppe... one that I could use on the web, business cards, and you got it... T-SHIRTS!!!
In addition to Mother's Day this past weekend... it was the hubs 38th birthday!! And with every holiday at my house comes something sweet! (Especially if mom is around!) So this year, I decided to do something a little different. A cross between strawberry shortcake and lemon cream pie... two of Bill's favorites!
It's been a busy week prepping for the hubs birthday and Mother's Day too! But I did manage to squeeze in a little thriftin' between shopping for gifts and making sweets!! (I'll have to share my mason jar strawberry & lemon dessert soon!) I hit the jackpot this week when it comes to small side tables... and lots of other French inspired vintage décor! I love the legs on this little side table and the look of four drawers...
It's time for my first sweet lovin' shout out and it goes to the Cottage Junkies from Washington, NC. I met these gals at the Raleigh Flea Market last weekend. They bought my Miss Mustard Seed Side Table, loaded her up, and carted her back to the Cottage in Washington!
"Why yes dear, look! It's The Love Tag Shoppe updates right here in my inbox!"
Fear and faith. Two words that often go hand in hand. But when it comes to making big decisions I tend to lack on the latter. I am a believer and I know God is in control, but I don't think I am alone in thinking that maybe I am about to make a bad decision and no one will stop me! That's when fear gets the best of me!
